Lisnavagh House was designed for entertaining on a grand scale, and with that comes comfortable, luxurious rooms and cottages for you to retire to. With original features and unique design, there is a perfect space for everyone.

Experience sheer calm in the Oak Room, country whimsical in the Day Nursery, or understated elegance in Sasha’s room. The rooms are made up of four poster beds, antique furniture, fantastic paintings, traditional country house style, and each room has something special to share with you. All rooms also feature stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Self catering options as wells as menus from The Lisnavagh Kitchen are available. Stay with us for your private party and complete your country house and estate experience.

Retreats

The programme of retreats for 2018 / 2019 include Yoga Sleep weekends, with twice-daily yoga classes led by yoga teacher Pam Butler as well as a new three day Yoga Sleep and Cookery long weekend in February. On Saturday, 24th November we are hosting a One Day Mindfulness & Meditation Retreat with our Mindfulness Guru Sheana Keane. WOW Workshop on creative writing from Monday, 12th - Friday, 19th November are also included.

Lisa Quish and Laura Dowdall return in the New Year using their different techniques to invigorate body, mind and spirit through Healing Yoga, Somatic Movement, Tension Release, Dance, Creative Expression, Self-Awareness Practices, Sound Meditation, Reiki and more! All food is vegetarian, organic and local and produced by The Lisnavagh Kitchen.

The Christmas Fair

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th December 12:30pm - 17:30pm

Start your festive season with a visit to our Christmas craft fair in the Garden Wing, set against the backdrop of this spectacular nineteenth-century mansion with history talks available from its owner William Bunbury. Meet some of our local crafts people, leading artists and makers from the world of textiles, ceramics and jewellery, find the perfect bespoke gift for that special person.

There will be something for everyone including our Lisnavagh cafe serving homemade savouries and cakes, mince pies, mulled wine and hot drinks with a special visit from Father Christmas it’s sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!

Children’s Craft Workshops will run daily with Jean Robertson, from 12pm – 2pm – Ticket sales now open.

Tables are available for hire should you be interested in participating.

Cottages & Courtyard Stables

Private, self-contained and comfortable. Nestled throughout the Estate are six country cottages and ten converted stables that are perfect for families or groups of up to eight guests.

Deliver to your Door homemade dishes and groceries are available as an extra service from the Lisnavagh Kitchen.

We invite you to enjoy every moment of your special day here. Say ‘I do’ in your chosen ceremony space, dine and celebrate in the stunning Garden Wing, and spend the night in one of our beautifully appointed bedrooms or cottages.

Whether your wedding is an intimate affair or a more substantial occasion, we place the emphasis on listening to your vision and guiding you to help create a completely bespoke and charming experience. Within the grounds there are two fabulous locations where we can stage wedding ceremonies, as well as a choice of wonderfully ornate rooms and outdoor lawns for entertaining your guests.
