What's Happening at Lisnavagh

So, spring has finally sprung, and the team at Lisnavagh are very excited as we look ahead to events in the 2017 Season. We are delighted that we now cater for a range of events including yoga & mindfulness retreats, corporate events, self-catering breaks, bespoke client events, team building days and weddings, so we are busier than ever and we love it! Following on from our most recent project, the addition of The Garden Wing to cater for events all year round, we have thrown ourselves into a new project - the development of our wet weather option for outdoor events - The Brick Tank - a unique space in the woods with a natural amphitheatre sound providing new scope for event offerings at Lisnavagh. Our upcoming season is taking shape nicely and looks a little like this;

Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat Looking for some ME time? Retreat to Lisnavagh to learn practical tips and tools with yoga and mindfulness which will create space to reconnect with yourself. We go on retreat to rest and restore, which is a state of being that Lisnavagh magically encourages. This experience will permit deep rest and reintegration. Our Retreats are designed as a slowing down, drawing in, restorative time helping you to step away from any worries or stresses you may have. An oasis of calm Lisnavagh offers peace and tranquillity and woodland walks. All our food is freshly prepared with local and organic suppliers. Date: 24 - 26 March (25 March - Day only) A recent review of the Yoga Sleep Retreat by Daphne Abernethy www.irishnews.com

Self Catering Breaks Looking to escape to the countryside for the weekend? Why not retreat to one of our Farm Cottages or Courtyard Stables which are situated on the Carlow/Wicklow border about an hour or so from Dublin, with striking panoramic views of the Wicklow Hills, Backstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster beyond Lisnavagh Estate’s 600 acres of woods and farmland. There are lots of activities for families or groups in the area such as The Wicklow Way, visit The ‘Dying Cow’ pub (established 1798) nearby or spend a few hours discovering Rathwood & the Chocolate Factory. Visit the Tinahely Farm Shop or further afield play a round at the prestigious Coolattin Golf Club or Mount Wolseley Golf/Country club and the celebrated Vale of Avoca with the ‘Meeting of the Waters’ is just over the hill. Should you wish to maximise your time at Lisnavagh we can organise horse-riding, yoga and clay pigeon shooting to name a few. *Minimum numbers apply with some activities.
