The estate is owned and managed by William & Emily McClintock Bunbury and a reliable team of full and part time workers.

 

William McClintock Bunbury returned to Lisnavagh in 2000 with a view to creating a financially sustainable life and business on the estate.  In 2001, The Lisnavagh Timber Project was established and during the following years parts of Lisnavagh Farmyard were refurbished into offices which now house the family enterprises. To increase the accommodation for guests, a number of the cottages on the estate have been refurbished and are rentable for short and longer term stays. More recently the Lisnavagh Timber Project has evolved into producing Bunbury Boards as part of the Lisnavagh Collection which is proving to be an international successful business.

 

Now William spends most of this time concentrating on the Bunbury Boards business as well as overseeing the day to day running of Lisnavagh Estate, which is no easy task.  William has a team working full time in the offices and the timber workshop including Dena, Brendan, Liz, Tomaz, Marek and the newest member of the team Paul as Estate Manager.

 

Emily McClintock Bunbury married William in October 2002 and has been very actively involved in several aspects of the estate since. including the refurbishment of Lisnavagh House & Cottages from 2005. Lisnavagh House opened as an exclusive wedding venue in 2007.  Since then Lisnavagh House & Gardens and Cottages are managed by Emily with part time help from Gladys and Gintare, Mark and Edijidus as well as wonderful au pairs. Lisnavagh House & Gardens is now a well known exclusive wedding venue, yoga sleep retreat, self catering accommodation and several bespoke and annual events. Lisnavagh is regularily used as a location for fashion editorials and commercial film projects.

 

Emily & William live in the wing of Lisnavagh House with their three children.
