Open Day at Lisnavagh

On Saturday, 23rd of January 2010 (10am to 8pm) we are opening our doors to all. For those brides to be or grooms in waiting – this is your chance to get intimate with Lisnavagh at no cost, with complimentary champagne in hand.

You will have the chance to meet two of our recommended suppliers, including LPM Bohemia – The Tent Company – www.lpmbohemia.co.uk, who will be able to take you through their expert knowledge and to view marquee settings in the gardens. Also present next Saturday will be Natasha Mann who will be promoting Honeydew Events to discuss her unique approach to wedding celebrations www.honeydewevents.ie

Family Historian Turtle Bunbury will be on hand to give guests an insight into Lisnavagh’s colourful past. Cups of tea & coffee will be served throughout the day which you can enjoy by our open fires. Lisnavagh House has four wonderful interconnecting function rooms at ground level, including a beautiful oak panelled library where wedding ceremonies can be conducted.

Winding up a magnificent cut-stone granite staircase, the first floor boasts individually styled bedrooms, including a four-poster described by The Irish Times as ‘the most magnificent bed in Ireland’. Since Lisnavagh began hosting weddings in 2007 we have experienced some unique and individually styled weddings and that is what we are all about!
